Expect a knowing nod from anyone at the record shop who catches this print across the room. The Vambo Rools OK design spells its slogan like a scrawl on a club wall, “VAMBO ROOLS OK!”, for fans who like their rock loud and scruffy.
A stark white stencil shows a singer in a wide-striped top, chin raised and gaze lifted toward the lights, with a microphone stand running straight down the middle of his body. Drippy, splattered edges give it a photocopied gig-flyer feel, and the shaky capitals stack in two lines beneath.
Pull it on for a punk revival night, a crate dig at the record fair or a pub gig where the band plays deep cuts. It also suits the uncle who still swears the best shows happened in tiny, sticky-floored halls.
