At the morning pour, before the first truck backs in, this concrete finisher design says what the foreman is thinking. Bold letters order “Suck it up, buttercup,” then the bottom line makes a blunt, crude point about who belongs on a finishing crew.

The center holds a sepia-toned photo with torn, ragged edges: a worker in a hard hat, safety vest and tall rubber boots guiding a motorized machine along a concrete form, scaffold poles behind him. Distressed white and red stencil lettering frames it, with a white brushstroke banner below.

Wear it on a slab pour, to the supply yard at dawn, or to the tailgate after a long flatwork week. It also works as a gift for the apprentice who survived his first summer, or the veteran finisher who trained him.
