Free Hugs Joan Cornella Comic Shirt

Cheerful on the surface, unsettling one beat later, this design runs on dark comedy. A grinning man offers a warm welcome while his shirt promises “Free Hugs,” right as both of his arms burst off in a spray of ink.

Clean black-and-white line work frames a smiling man with raised eyebrows, a mustache and neatly combed hair. Bold rounded capitals spell FREE HUGS across his chest, while both arms detonate into jagged inkblots that scatter dots outward and drip down below.

It lands with fans of absurdist, deadpan comic humor and anyone whose group chat trades the weirdest memes. Wear it to a comics show, a late-night hangout, or hand it to the friend who laughs hardest at things that should not be funny.
